We cannot thank you enough for the gift of your music for David's memorial. The one piece you prepared for the center of the program, Chemutengure, was stellar. It was such a treat to hear the song sung. The instruments are mystical and magical. Especially fascinating is how assured every musician is. The way they stand, enjoy the music, communicate with one another during the performance has powerful authenticity and touching modesty. No wonder Dave loved Kukuva. Please thank Rosalie, Nick, Gordon, Deb, Phyllis, as well as the two members unable to be there on behalf of all the Uranecks.

Just wanted to say thank you so much for your inspiring performance last night at the Sunshine Division packing night - it really helped to keep the boxes moving and left little time to think of our aching backs!!

Hi Kukuva. Thank you so much for your help at the Queens of Africa fund raising event. You were amazing, I hadn't seeing you guys in a long time and each time i see your performance is different and just wonderful. I liked it when you added the Mbira players too, that was really cool. And once again I would like to mention that from all the pdx marimba bands you guys showed me that you care, you were the only band that responded to my request and I appreciate that whole heartedly. Gordon thanks for donating your $54 to the fund raiser, i appreciate and that touched my heart. Thank you guys, you ROCK!!!!

I just wanted to thank you all again for playing at Buckman. You were very much appreciated. We raised close to $500 dollars and there is already talk of getting a marimba band for the kids going at Buckman.

I have seen you live many times at the annual music festival at Squaw Mountain Ranch in Estacada. I am dying to get some of your cds and will as soon as finances permit.
